Tara Books






I just came across this beautiful book illustrations made by the Tara Books. They are group of talented craftsmen in India who created manual printing intricate book illustrations, and most of them are for children which I also love. And they also manually bind the books as you see at the picture below.

Holy cow those are gorgeous!

At first, when I was watching the video and they were showing one of the pages, I thought it was a tree they were making, then they put the eye on and I thought it was a bird, then they showed that the book in fact was about trees!

That just goes to show-its always wrong to assume. Especially with things like that! Where do you FIND this stuff Jericho?? I've never heard of these before.

I couldn't read most of what they were saying, but I saw the blow drying part well enough, LoL. Just seemed funny that they were using one...

Okay, I've babbled enough. Fantastic books though.
