Hello there! It's been a very long time since I updated this blog. Partly because I have no much time and effort before to think what would I write and partly I thought this is just part of my college past. But I have a sudden urge to write again because of my career I've chosen months ago.
Remember last time that I told you about choosing my passion as my career. I just realize that it is necessary to resurrect my blog again in order to gain more audience to the world.
And one of my first project this year is this large painting in Grisaille or dead colors as some people called it. This was supposedly an underlayer of my painting process as some of the old masters during the Late medieval times in Northern Europe. This is what I am currently exploring.
This was commissioned last year and this is the first time I am working on something less me by incorporating children's pop culture reference such as mickey mouse and working entirely on grisaille only (or Dead colors).
These are usually my final stage of my painting procedure before I put the final glazes of coloring. But here I will not add the final glazes.
